The designs for my embroidery paintings are based on medieval european woodcuts (mostly religious), ancient manuscript illuminations and japanese ukiyo-e prints. In some cases I`ve changed the original colors (or added colors, since most medieval prints are black on white) in order to revive the faded beauty and enhance the spirit of those masterpieces.

Recently I decided to do some projects in cross-stitch. In meantime I use charts from craft magazines but in future I`ll present my own designs and charts for download.

My jewellery works were inspired by native art from all around the world. You will find here celtic, norse, mayan, japanese and other designs (including my own).
I work with silver and semi-precious stones which are hand-picked so you won`t see two of them alike (except for sets). Actually those stones can be named as another source of my inspiration, because I always match the designs to them (and not vise versa).

I don`t think of myself as of professional artist and draw for my own pleasure so I`ll be happy if you`d like my work.
